Tronox announced that as a result of a strategic review of its asset footprint, Tronox has informed its Dutch workforce that it intends to idle its 90,000 metric ton per year TiO2 facility in Botlek, the Netherlands on 17th,March. The site is currently closed due to a power outage at the site's chlorine supplier that began on March 6, 2025, but is not expected to come back online following consultation with the unions. Tronox does not expect this move to impact its ability to serve its customers as the Company will leverage its diversified footprint to provide uninterrupted supply. The operational site currently employs approximately 240 impacted permanent employees.
