From January to December 2017, China's total volume of titanium dioxide exports was 83,0916.9 tons, an increase of 11,0446.8 tons, and an increase of 15.32% compare with 2016 year’s quantity. In December, the export volume was 88145.3 tons, which created a new historical record for the export of titanium dioxide in a single month.

In 2017, the China titanium dioxide export volume was 830,916.9 tons, accounting for 19% of the total titanium dioxide production in China.
