Mineral Deposits Limited (“MDL”) advises that it has increased its interest in World Titanium Resources Limited (“WTR”) from 15.0% to 19.1% through the subscription of 18.0 million shares at 13 cents per share by way of a placement.

In addition, MDL Executive Chairman Nic Limb has been appointed to the WTR board.

WTR (ASX: WTR) owns 100% of the Toliara mineral sands project in Madagascar, where large mineral sands mineralisation containing the valuable heavy minerals ilmenite, rutile, zircon and leucoxene have been identified.
