Following the second round of titanium dioxide price increases in China for 2025, international manufacturers are also raising their prices. Chemours also issued the following price increase notice on February 27, 2025 :

“Effective April 1st 2025, all grades of Ti-Pure™ TiO2 purchased in the Asia Pacific region will increase by USD $100 per ton in order to ensure our capabilities to serve our customers reliably.

Additionally, the price of sulfuric acid, a key raw material for titanium dioxide production, continues to rise domestically in China, adding further upward pressure on prices in the global market.
